HIROSHIMA, Japan—“After seeing the Shen Yun show, my entire body and soul were purified,” said a Japanese audience member who has undergone a cancer surgery lately.

After the New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts’ second show at Hiroshima ALSOK Hall on March 12, was finished, an audience member talked to The Epoch Times reporter saying, "Indeed wonderful! Seeing the show, I seemed to be saved.” Then after the interview he was seen walking out of the Hall, repeating this again with emotion in his voice.

This man who identified himself as Mr. Sera, in his 60s, said that he had seen quite a lot dance shows and musicals. With a pair of gleaming and penetrating eyes, Mr. Sera said, "Today it was my first time to feel so happy." He seemed to be somewhat energetic and excited, when talking to the reporter.

Holding his abdomen with his hands, he couldn’t help but pause for a moment and exclaim, "I have just undergone a cancer surgery recently, and I feel my whole body and soul have been purified. I had appreciated the songs singing in artistic styles in the past. The subtitles on the backdrops really helped me understand the meaning of the lyrics.”

He excitedly continued, "I feel much better today, and feel very happy from the bottom of my heart."

In addition, when talking about the live orchestra and the vocalists, he highly praised their performances. He said that the vocalists’ voice could resound throughout the hall even without microphones.

As did many other audience members, he also highly acclaimed the gorgeous costumes and the exquisite dances, in particular the dance Water Sleeves [Flowing Silk] and those depicting the tenderness of females of Miao and Dai ethnicity. He also said that he marveled at the colorful backdrops. He concluded by saying, that the Shen Yun performances have purified his entire body and soul.”
